3D - Laser Texturing Process

1.The customer provides a general 3D drawing file of the die that fully conforms to the size of the workpiece.

2.Design the texture required by the customer.

3.Through software to process texture rendering onto surfaces requiring machining.

4.Through software to calculate and produce laser processing program.

5.Import the processing program into the machine, adjust and set various parameters, and laser engraving.

The Superiority of 3D Laser Engraving Technology Three-dimensional laser engraving is a modern innovation, a state-of-the-art fully digital technology capable of transforming ideas into tangible creations—even human fingerprints—while transcending the limitations of traditional texturing methods. It achieves greater precision, finer detail, and a more premium finish. Today's product surfaces suffer from a severe lack of individuality and homogeneity. Previously, product surface textures relied on manual etching and CNC tooling—both inherently limited in achieving fine, lifelike natural effects. A revolutionary shift has arrived: the perfect integration of digital texture design (using images) and five-axis laser processing makes anything possible. Digital technology enables computer-generated programs, guaranteeing the realism of any graphic texture. This data is then fed into laser equipment (capable of 20μm precision) for ultra-fine processing, making anything achievable. We make our clients' products stand out and turn their boundless imagination for product aesthetics into reality. 3D Laser Engraving Process 3D Laser Engraving = Global Digitalization + Omni-Directional Processing Before actual processing, simulation calculations verify the accuracy and feasibility of the engravable area.
Feasibility of Reverse Engineering: Verifying the conformity between mold precision and 3D mold drawing dimensions, as well as the specific dimensions during mold repair.

The processing principle of 3D laser: It employs a layered processing method, where depth and layer count determine texture precision. At the same depth, more layers result in higher processing accuracy; however, this also extends processing time and increases costs.

Advantages and Features of 3D Laser Engraving:
①. LASER 3D's specialized software automates the generation of ultra-precise digital programs;
②. Environmentally friendly process with no chemical usage;
③. Fully digitalized process chain ensures high reproducibility and consistency;
④. Unlimited design and machining possibilities for surfaces with freeform geometric definitions;
⑤. Independent of steel properties;
⑥. Full control over any mold side pattern depth, accurate to approximately 1μm, achieving more perfect, precise, and uniform side pattern reduction. This significantly reduces the likelihood of mold pattern defects.
